Like with any addict, the cycle ends in one of two ways - A cold turkey cure, or death of an overdose. In either case, the drug use stops.mwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11181222537529037359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26542777.post-7975959906736185522008-11-20T12:13:00.000-08:002008-11-20T12:13:00.000-08:00Yes, of course Obama is going to keep spending mor...Yes, of course Obama is going to keep spending more. Until someone decides to cut entitlements, which isnt likely soon, this cycle will continue.Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00858781035308252728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26542777.post-90900978866585329022008-11-20T08:12:00.000-08:002008-11-20T08:12:00.000-08:00I agree. And let me make a more localized point ....I agree. And let me make a more localized point . . .

The corporatism practiced by Republican officeholders is readily apparent when considering the pay-to-play Ohio General Assembly we've had for years. Ohio's economic woes aren't just a product of a high tax environment, they are the product of state legislators choosing winners and losers in the marketplace, garnering for themselves campaign donations from the winners for doing so, and thus we have no level playing field. Ohio has an anti-competitive marketplace, and that has more bearing upon our failing economy than our high tax rates (not that I'm advocating that we can afford taxes to go any higher--quite the opposite.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
