UPDATE 03/04/07: The race is underway!
Net-net: while I may attempt to sporadically connect along the way, the reality is that blog posts will be few and far between from now until my return on or about St. Patricks day. In the meantime, permit me to direct your attention to these recent Blog Carnivals, representing a fine collection of recent blogospheric activity.
- Paul Miller digs out of a blizzard of posts in the "Carnival of Ohio Politics #61" hosted at Newshound.
- The Maiden presents a wide ranging selection of posts at the second edition of the almost brand new "This Is Not My Country" Carnival hosted at Hell's Handmaiden.
- Kehaar presents the Carnival of the Vanities #232: "The No Theme Edition" hosted at Siiflay Hraka. I Particularly enjoyed Wayne Hurlbert's post on How to become a carnival pariah. A number of blogger submitting posts to the Carnival of Divided Government must be reading his helpful suggestion #2:
"Enter every carnival you can find. Who cares what the theme of the carnival is alleged to support. Your dodgy product is as useful to a cat blogger as it is to a hobby or food blogger. You are smarter than the host, and definitely smarter than the readership. It's all about the links baby."
- Boring Made Dull contrarily compiles some interesting reading in "Economics & Social Policy XXXIV" hosted at the The Boring Made Dull. Mr. BMD never agrees with my submissions to his carnival, but posts them anyway. Go figger.
Technorati tags: divided government, conservative, libertarian, Morpheus, Cabo San Lucas, blog carnival.
